Day 27: Ascent to hula hooping mediocraty

Good evening πŸ™‚

Today I have mainly been investigating my fitbit. I love it πŸ™‚ it is addictive…i keep syncing up to find out how many steps and such I have done. I have linked it to my calorie tracker and now two sites that claim they are going to give me free vouchers and such if I do exercising, I decided it couldn’t hurt, I was going to do exercising anyway! I am slightly skeptical but we shall see. The sleep function is interesting, apparently I woke up 19 times and was restless last night, I knew i woke up a lot but 19 times!! I ave (attempted to set it up so it posts my daily stats to this blog, we will have to see if it works…

It was another hot and sunny and in fact too stifling to be stuck in an office day, however stuck in an office i was but I did my best to get up and walk about at every opportunity…I have to walk a fine line between getting in extra walking about to stop my legs seizing up and looking like a crazy person dancing in the kitchen when the director walks in…I’ll leave you to decide which side of the line I landed on πŸ™‚

Challenge activity wise, as it was such a nice sunny day, I decided to repeat Tuesday’s Hula hooping in the garden. I seem to have improved at this hula hooping malarkey, I managed to go for 50 revolutions on average this time…I am sure this must be some sort of international hula hooping record…


well perhaps not, perhaps it is still not that good but It is an improvement over Tuesday which is the main thing at the moment πŸ™‚

Today after a few warm up hoopings I devised a hoop-y circuit where I interspersed hula hooping with 20 high knees πŸ™‚ I repeated all of this for 15 mins then retired inside for the ubiquitous kettlebell section of the work out, followed by core strengthening and stretching πŸ™‚
