Day 321: more indications that I may be a panda…
Well they are tricky again…
In fact it is a more entrenched theme than my dislike of Tuesdays!
And there is no appropriate cat for a tricky Thursday!
Some judicious googling has led me to remember that Arthur Dent couldn’t do Thursdays either…this makes me happy.
And a gratuitous Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy reference is always good!!
So aside from accidentally falling asleep before tea and not being able to go for a walk in my lunch break due to torrential rain what did I do with my tricky Thursday?
Well…I not squats, as it was squat challenge rest day! woohoo!
I did yoga.
Not in pyjamas either!
But I didn’t actually manage to get to a class…I did resort to yoga apps again…I started with my Yoga for Runners app.
Actually no…I started with some dancing and squat kicks and suchlike just for fun…
But after that I started with my Yoga for Runners app. From which I did the shorter Sun Salutation as a warm up followed by the yoga for strength sequence.
Dupring these, I learned (relearned? remembered?) something about yoga that I really should keep in mind more often.
It is made up from lots of moves that look easy and natural when they are demonstrated by people who are really good at yoga…
which is why, I feel I have somewhat more in common with a small tubby panda when I am practicing yoga, than I do with any human…
Once I had completed these, I switched apps to The Daily Yoga and did their Yoga for the Back sequence.
I don’t particularly have problems with my back, but as I sit down all day in a lumbar damaging office chair, I decided a bit of back attention would not be a bad thing 🙂
I know I have said this before, but I think i might benefit from going to an actually yoga class, and possibly doing it more regularly than once in a blue Thursday when I remember…
I’ll keep you posted as to whether I ever do!
