Well…apparently I totally forgot to post any of my exercise stuff on here. Shame really as I have been doing lots 😊 my most notable achievement was a 95kg deadlift… did I already mention that…I can’t remember but I am super proud anyway because it is the heaviest I have lifted in a year at least!! I rediscovered lifting this week… I remembered how much I absolutely Love it!!

This was yesterday…
I did exercise but I forgot to tell you about it… so here it is…
I went to he gym…again 🙂 and I have come to the conclusion that Sunday evening is my least favourite time in the gym so far. It is full of chatters and gigglers which is fine for them but off putting (to say the least) for everyone else!
Luckily I ignored them and got in with a pretty awesome upper body workout 😊😊
Benchpress/ incline benchpress/ chest flys/barbell row/ seated row/ assisted pull up… not too shabby really!

In case you didn’t guess from that I am happy… I did a 95kg deadlift this afternoon 😊😊😊 I haven’t lifted this heavy in over a year and I lived it so much!! Total superhero lifting day 😊😊
I danced in the gym after I lifted it…which confused a couple of people… the Saturday evening people in the gym don’t know me as well as the weekday morning people 😂😂

Today I gymmed…(yes I know that isn’t a verb…but I am going with it) I went before work with my friend Sarah and we lifted stuf op and put it down and I actually went on a treadmill and did an inclined walk…
Yes…voluntarily on a treadmill… this is very rare!!
Somewhat later there was dancing… at which I forgot quite a few dances but then remembered them and took no photos…
Still lots of fun 😊 and awesome comic book leggings put in an appearance!!
I didn’t dance in my fluffy slippers by the way… just took the photo to show you my awesome leggings 😊😊
Day 9 started as is customary for a Tuesday, with an early morning PT session 🙂 it was pretty awesome…I got to do squats which is always good!!
Janathon day 9 finished with day 8 Of Yoga True from Yoga with Adriene 😊which was lovely and stretchy and completed before midnight!!
Mia cat wasn’t involved…she just looked very sweet!!

Yoga True day 6 done before midnight!! Woohoo! I also walked around a it more than I did yesterday so that is good too!! It has been a relatively restful weekend…which is good once in a while 😊
Yoga is hard…even short seemingly simple things are hard… I wasn’t as calm as I should have been today and may have sworn a little… but I enjoyed it (the yoga… not the swearing…)
Yesterday I decided to do yoga earlier… today I completely failed at that and did it at quarter past midnight again…
Still I did it and that is what counts 😊😊
What’s more I even felt better doing it…I managed to press up from the floor to plank without having to go on my knees and crawl about and I lowered down to the floor without just flopping!! Woohoo progress!!
Apparently I got ahead of myself yesterday and labelled day 4 as day 5… oh well it is rectified now 😂
The real day 5 started early in the gym with a deficit deadlift/squat superset and 3 sets on the leg press, short workout again but effective!
The day ended with yoga at midnight… again! I really need to get organised and do this earlier in the evening!!
Anyway… day 4 of Yoga True (the days don’t sync as there was a day 0 in the yoga series…I am finding this more confusing than I should!! Today’s yoga was floor yoga which was nice… and, as usual, not as easy as you think it is going to be!!
I particularly felt the hip bridges (the one Adriene is doing in that picture… these hurt much more if you have done squats and deadlifts earlier in the day!!
Still all done now and time to sleep before I drop off while typing!!

Other than that today was a rest day, Thursdays are hard work and work work was super annoying so yoga and nothing super jumpy-around-y was exactly what I needed!
In the process I learned the following:
Do not take a giant full of water in the middle of yoga… downward dog is weird when you are all sloshy!!

I went to the gym!! In the morning!! On my own!!!
Ok I know I go to the gym in the morning a lot but normally I am meeting someone and if they can’t go I end up sleeping… today I got up and went on my own woohoo!
Admittedly I was later than normal…but I went! 😁 and. I did stuff… deadlifts and heavy sled pushes as a super set… it was short but hard!
Then…as it is Wednesday I did dancing… of course I did it is mythago practice night 😊😊 I danced all sorts of things including Spank the Monkey (which I am mentioning to amuse my friend Nancy)
I didn’t take any pictures…I was dancing…
And to top off the day I just finished day 2 of Yoga True. Today’s practice was called trust…it was hard… the yoga not the trusting. I can’t do a one legged pigeon! But I will get there 😊
